Trade and Project Orders
Trade and Project Orders
Buying forty registers is a different job from buying one. Every floor has slightly different openings, the finish has to match across the whole building, and the delivery date is tied to a trade that hasn't finished yet. Here is how we handle project work.
- Volume pricing on the whole schedule, quoted as one package rather than line by line.
- Scheduled delivery by floor, phase or release date, instead of the entire quantity landing at once.
- Any size up to 24 x 72 inches, so the schedule drives the product rather than the other way round.
- One point of contact on your schedule from first quote to final release.
- A single powder coat run across the project, so the finish matches from the first unit to the last.
There is no application form. Send us a schedule and we will set the account up around it.
Buildings do not have standard openings
Standard sizes are a manufacturing convenience. They were never a building standard and they have never survived a renovation. Older stock has drifted, additions were framed by whoever was free that week, and plenty of ducts were cut on site by eye.
About 36% of our revenue comes from sizes outside our fifty best sellers. That is not a rounding error at the edge of the catalogue. It is roughly a third of real demand that a standard-size supplier cannot fill.
Sizes we have actually produced: 6 x 9.5, 3.5 x 20.5, 5.5 x 23.5, 4 x 50.25, 6 x 71.
What forcing a standard size costs on a forty-unit job. A cover that is undersized leaves a visible gap at the frame. One that is oversized rocks underfoot and telegraphs every step. Either way somebody is shimming, caulking and trimming forty times, and the callbacks arrive after the trade has demobilised.
In stock ships in one business day
We measured every in-stock order we shipped between 27 May and 25 August 2026, excluding preorders and counter sales, from the moment the order landed to the moment the shipping confirmation went out.
ONE BUSINESS DAY
BUSINESS DAY
ON SAME-DAY SHIPMENTS
THE SLOWEST ORDER
Month to month the within-one-day figure ran between 92.0% and 95.3%, so this is how the shop runs rather than one good quarter.
Made to order and preorder items ship in 3 to 4 weeks. Your shipping method changes transit time, not production time.
Phased release, not one pallet
Most projects do not want the full quantity arriving on day one. Storing forty boxed registers on an active floor is how they get damaged, walked off with, or installed in the wrong unit.
We schedule releases against your dates. Send the phases with your schedule and the quote will come back built around them.
Every US order ships delivered duty paid
Duties, taxes and customs fees are covered by us. There is no brokerage invoice three weeks later, nothing owed at the door, and no line item your purchase order failed to anticipate. Shipping itself is free.
Everything is made in North America, which is what makes that pricing predictable enough to put in a bid.
Remote addresses may carry an additional cost, quoted to you before anything ships. We cannot deliver to PO boxes, so please give us a physical street address.

Four colours, matched across the run
| Finish | Availability | Lead time |
|---|---|---|
| Black | Stocked | 1 business day |
| White | Stocked | 1 business day |
| Grey | Made to order | 3 to 4 weeks |
| Silver | Made to order | 3 to 4 weeks |
Stock moves day to day, so availability is confirmed when we quote. On a project run the full quantity is powder coated together, which is the only reliable way to keep the finish consistent from the lobby to the top floor.
What to send us
- A size schedule. Opening dimensions, not the dimensions of the cover coming out, with a quantity against each line.
- Mounting type per line. Floor drop-in, undermount, wall or ceiling.
- Finish.
- Delivery dates or phases, if the job is being released in stages.
- Ship-to address. A physical street address.
If your takeoff already lives in a spreadsheet, send it exactly as it is. We would rather read your format than make you re-key a hundred lines into ours.
Terms worth knowing up front
- Custom sizes run 20 to 25% above the nearest listed size. Weigh that against shimming, trim and callbacks on every non-standard opening in the building.
- Custom sizing covers every line except Breeze and ON. Those two use a laser welded top plate in a fixed tooling set, so they are made in listed sizes only.
- Custom, preorder and made-to-order items can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After that they are non-cancellable and non-returnable, because by then they have been cut for your job. Manufacturing defects and shipping damage are always covered, custom included.
- In-stock items can be returned within 30 days, unused and in original packaging, with approval before they ship back. A 15% restocking fee applies and return freight is the customer's.
