The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details above and we will delete it.

How We Share Your Information

We share your personal information with service providers who help us operate our business and fulfill our contract with you, as described above. Specifically:

  • We use Shopify to power our online store. You can read how Shopify handles personal information at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • We share shipping and product information with carriers and, for shipments into the United States, with our licensed customs broker, as required to clear goods across the border.
  • We may disclose personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and Analytics

We use the following services to understand how the Site is used and to show relevant advertising:

For general information on how targeted advertising works, see the Network Advertising Initiative's page at https://thenai.org/about-online-advertising/. You can also opt out of several advertising services through the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info/ or, in Canada, at https://youradchoices.ca/.

Automated Decision-Making

We do not use fully automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Shopify, our processor, applies limited automated fraud prevention on our behalf, including temporary blocking of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions (typically a few hours) and temporary blocking of credit cards associated with those IP addresses (typically a few days).

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain order records for as long as required to support warranty claims, resolve disputes, and meet Canadian tax and customs record-keeping obligations, which is generally seven years. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details above, subject to those legal retention requirements.

Your Rights

Canada

Under Canadian privacy law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected. Contact us using the details above to make a request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at https://www.priv.gc.ca/en/report-a-concern/.

United States

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to request correction, and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that requires an opt-out link. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Europe and the United Kingdom

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, port, correct, or erase your personal information. We process your personal information on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business. Your personal information is processed in Canada and the United States. Contact us using the details above to exercise these rights, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit our Site. We use cookies that are necessary for the store to function (shopping cart, checkout, login, currency and region selection), cookies for reporting and analytics, and cookies for advertising.

Cookies used by our Shopify storefront are listed and kept current at https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies. Session cookies expire when you stop browsing. Persistent cookies typically expire between 30 minutes and two years after being set.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, usually found under "Tools", "Settings", or "Preferences". Blocking cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working, including the cart and checkout. Blocking cookies does not by itself stop all sharing with advertising partners, so to opt out of advertising uses please follow the links in the Advertising and Analytics section above.

Do Not Track

There is no consistent industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals, so we do not change our data collection practices when we receive one.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The current version is always available on this page, with the last updated date shown at the top.
